1. Bow Riversedge Campground

A unique RV campground located close to Calgary and just an hour from Banff & Kananaskis Country. 144 full service sites-either 50 amp or 30 amp. Located just off the Cowboy Trail on Hwy 22 going through the heart of a large agricultural and cowboy country.

Cochrane offers all the amenities of a large town and a quaint turn-of-the-century main street. Lots to do in our area from trail riding, hiking, and fishing in the Bow River on our doorstep, and just great times all around. The campground has washrooms/showers, laundry, a playground, an off-leash dog area adjacent to the grounds, and the Corral for group get-togethers!

6. Calgary West Campground

The only campground within the City of Calgary. Conveniently located off the TransCanada Highway just west of Canada Olympic Park and Stoney Trail. Seasonal camping (April 15 to Oct 15) and year-round RV storage. Electrical (20 and 30 amp only), sewer, and water services are available for RVs, trailers, and tents.

Established in 1972. Opened as the Calgary West KOA in the MD of Rocky View two miles west of the City of Calgary. As Calgary grew over the years is now a country setting in the City.

7. Paddy’s Flat Campground

Paddy’s Flat is a piece of privacy that’s close to Calgary. At only about a 45-minute drive from Calgary and 20 minutes from Bragg Creek, Paddy’s Flat offers an opportunity for the entire family to feel at home in nature without too much “are we there yet are we there yet?!” along the drive.
